Sarah started her career as a project engineer for an automaker. After many years of being the volunteer treasurer for her own congregation, she pursued a master’s degree in accounting and was happy to put her interest in non-profit accounting to work at the Presbytery. She has two children in high school and enjoys supporting their activities and cheering them on in their endeavors. Her hobbies include cycling and thinking about a variety of crafts which she hopes to someday complete.
Sarah Leight is the Business Manager for the Presbytery of Detroit. In her current role, she manages the accounting and finances as well as the other needs of the Presbytery as a business entity. In particular, Sarah supports the work of the Trustees and the Operations Team. She also provides support to the volunteer treasurers of our individual congregations when they have questions about their accounting.
